This website is operated by The Trustee for The Self Styler Trust ABN 25 513 369 551. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Self Styler. By accessing this website, including all information, tools and services available, you agree to the terms of service outlined below.

By visiting our site and/or making a purchase, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms, conditions and policies referenced here or available via hyperlink. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, merchants and content contributors.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website or place an order. By placing an order, you enter into a legally binding agreement subject to these Terms. If you have any questions, please contact us at sales@theselfstyler.com

We may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting changes on this page. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. Continued use of the site following any updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Any new features or tools added to the store will also be subject to these Terms.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, an e-commerce platform that enables us to offer our products and services to you.

SECTION 1 – ONLINE STORE TERMS

(a) By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have given us consent to allow any minor dependents under your care to use this site.

(b) You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor violate any applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to copyright laws.

(d) Any breach of these Terms will result in immediate suspension or termination of your Services.

SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS

(a) We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

(b) You acknowledge that any content you provide (excluding credit card information) may be transmitted unencrypted and may involve (i) transmissions over multiple networks, and (ii) modifications to conform to technical requirements of connecting devices or networks.

(c) You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, access to the Service, or any contacts obtained through the website without our express written permission.

(d) Headings in this agreement are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of the Terms.

SECTION 3 – MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

(a) Product prices are subject to change at any time without notice.

(b) We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.

(c) We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any changes, price modifications, suspensions, or discontinuation of the Service.

SECTION 4 – PRODUCTS OR SERVICES

(a) Our products or services are exclusively available online. These items may have limited stock and are subject to the return conditions outlined herein.

(b) We have made every effort to accurately display product colors and images. We cannot guarantee that your device will display colours precisely.

(c) We reserve the right, at our discretion, to limit sales of our products or services to any person, region, or jurisdiction. We may restrict quantities or availability at our discretion. Product descriptions and pricing may change without notice, and any offer is void where prohibited.

(d) We do not guarantee that any product, service, or material purchased will meet your expectations or that errors will be corrected.

SECTION 5 – ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

(a) We reserve the right to refuse any order. We may limit or cancel quantities per person, household, or order, including multiple orders under the same account, credit card, or billing/shipping address. In such cases, we may attempt to notify you via email or phone.

(b) You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current account and purchase information, and to promptly update this information to ensure successful order processing and contactability.

SECTION 6 – ORDER CREATION, ORDER CHANGES & CONTRACT AGREEMENT

6.1 ORDER CREATION

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Confirmation of an order does not constitute acceptance; only shipping confirmation signifies acceptance and formation of a binding contract.

We may perform security checks prior to accepting and processing your order to verify that you are the authorized card/account holder.

Orders will be charged in AUD. Conversion fees by your banking provider are your responsibility and are non-refundable.

6.2 ORDER CHANGES

For order errors, contact sales@theselfstyler.com immediately. Once dispatched, changes cannot be made, and the return process must be followed. The Self Styler is not liable for return fees in such cases.

Incorrect delivery addresses are the customer’s responsibility. If we cannot update the address before dispatch, you must contact the courier directly.

Order cancellations must be requested immediately. Once packed, cancellations are not possible and must follow the returns process and policy.

We may deny orders for reasons including but not limited to:

Stock unavailability – we will contact you to offer a solution.
Suspected fraud.
Invalid promotion codes.

Cancelled orders will be refunded and item availability is not guaranteed.

SECTION 7 – SHIPPING & DELIVERY

We offer free express shipping on orders over AUD 200 (after discounts). Orders are dispatched Monday–Friday from our Burleigh, QLD warehouse within 1–2 business days.

Orders during national/public holidays or high-volume days (e.g., launches, sales) may experience delays. We are not liable for delayed delivery due to couriers or customs.

Couriers may contact you regarding delivery. If parcels are returned due to inability to contact you, reshipping fees apply.

7.1 Missing deliveries

Ensure a secure delivery location. The Self Styler is not responsible for missing or stolen parcels. Claims must be lodged within 30 days. Replacement items are subject to eligibility criteria and refunds are not eligible for delivered but missing orders.

7.2 Missing items

If items are missing upon receipt, provide photos of packaging and items within 7 days of delivery. Warehouse scanning and video evidence may be reviewed. Refunds are not available if evidence indicates all items were fulfilled.

7.3 Damaged deliveries

Report damaged parcels within 7 days with photos. Take care when opening packages, The Self Styler is not responsible for damage caused when opening your parcel.

7.4 Lost in transit

Contact the courier for investigations. Provide case/reference numbers to our Customer Experience team. Claims must be submitted within 30 days of expected delivery.

SECTION 8 – DUTIES & TAXES

International deliveries may incur customs duties or taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility. Duties are calculated based on total parcel value, excluding discount codes, store credit, or gift cards.

Refusal to pay customs fees may result in returned parcels; return costs will be deducted from refunds. Duties are non-refundable. Exchange orders purchased with store credit are also subject to customs fees.

SECTION 9 – CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS: REFUNDS, STORE CREDIT & EXCHANGES

Items may be returned within 30 days if:

Unworn, unwashed, with original tags/packaging
Free of perfume, body odor, makeup, glitter, pet hair
Not purchased as final sale
Not earrings or drinkware

Original shipping and applied discounts are non-refundable. The Self Styler reserves the right to reject returns not meeting these requirements and charge the customer for any shipping fees.

9.1 Refunds

Refunds are not available for change-of-mind returns, including sizing or fabric preference.

9.2 Store Credit

Eligible returns receive store credit valid for 3 years. Gift cards and store credit are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash.

9.3 Size Exchanges

Due to limited stock, exchanges are not available. Returns must be processed for credit and used to purchase a new size.

9.4 Final Sale

Items marked final sale are ineligible for refunds, exchanges, or store credit.

SECTION 10 – EASY FREE RETURNS (Checkout opt-in service)

From 27 May at 9:00am (AEST), customers located in Australia only may opt in at checkout to Easy Free Returns for an additional fee of $2.98 AUD.

By selecting “Easy Free Returns” at checkout, you are opting into a paid returns service that provides enhanced return benefits as outlined below.

If you opt in to Easy Free Returns:
(a) You will receive a free return shipping label for eligible returns processed via our returns portal.
(b) Your order includes shipping protection in case of loss or damage in transit.

If you do not opt in:
(a) You may still return eligible items via our returns portal in accordance with Section 9.
(b) You will need to purchase your own return shipping label.
(c) The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your store credit where applicable.

Important conditions:
(a) This service is not available for final sale items.
(b) Once your order has been dispatched, you cannot remove or refund this fee.
(c) If you choose not to return an item, you are not eligible to cancel or recover this $2.98 fee under any circumstance.
(d) By selecting the Easy Free Returns at checkout, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

SECTION 11 – FAULTY RETURNS

Defective items must be reported immediately via sales@theselfstyler.com, including photos. Do not wear, use, or dispose of the item until assessment.

Confirmed manufacturer defects will be replaced, credited, or refunded. Items damaged due to misuse, wear, or improper care are not eligible.

SECTION 12 – PRICE MATCHING

We are not obliged to price match items on our site. You must purchase during the sale period to be eligible.

SECTION 13 – PROMOTIONS & GIVEAWAYS

Any promotions, discounts, or giveaways offered by The Self Styler are subject to specific terms and conditions provided at the time of the promotion. Participation constitutes acceptance of these rules. Promotions cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to cancel or modify promotions at any time. For details on current promotions, please refer to the promotional terms linked at the time of the offer.

FREE GIFT WITH PURCHASE WHEN YOU SPEND $150+

Receive a free gift when you spend $150 or more in a single transaction. Customers must select their free gift at checkout. Offer is not valid in conjunction with any discount codes or promotional codes. Minimum spend of $150 must be met after any automatic discounts and before shipping. While stocks last. Offer is subject to change or withdrawal at any time.

FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING ON PURCHASES OVER $200+

Receive Free Express Shipping when you spend $200 or more in a single transaction. Minimum spend of $200 must be met after any automatic discounts. Express shipping via Australia Post service, Australia wide only. Offer is subject to change or withdrawal at any time.

10% WELCOME DISCOUNT CODE

You must sign up for The Self Styler emails via the footer of our website or via the site pop up to receive your code. Code must be applied to cart and will not auto apply. Offer is only eligible for new customers who have not previously signed up for our mailing list. Minimum spend of $99 AUD, valid for 7 days and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or discounts. We are unable to apply this code to past orders.

CREATOR CODES

Codes are only shared by our creators via their platforms. The code can only be used once per person and cannot be used in conjunction with other offers. We are unable to apply this code to past orders. 15% codes have an expiry of 48 hours.

SECTION 14 – SOCIAL MEDIA & USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)

By tagging @theselfstyler or posting content on social media referencing The Self Styler, you grant us permission to use your content across our website, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials. This includes using your name or social media handle to identify the content.

By sharing content with us, you confirm that:

(a) You own the rights to the content or have obtained consent from all individuals featured.

(b) The content may be modified by The Self Styler without notice.

(d) You comply with the terms and conditions of the platform where the content is posted.

SECTION 16 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

(a) The website may provide access to optional third-party tools, over which The Self Styler has no control or monitoring.

(b) Such tools are provided “as-is” without warranties or endorsements, and The Self Styler disclaims any liability arising from their use.

(c) Any use of third-party tools is at your own risk, and you must review and accept the provider’s terms before using the tool.

(d) Future tools or features introduced to the website will also be subject to these Terms of Service.

SECTION 17 – MOBILE MESSAGING SERVICE

(a) The Self Styler’s mobile messaging service (“Service”) is operated by ABN 25 513 369 551 The Self Styler.

(b) Your use of the Service constitutes agreement to these Mobile Terms. We may modify or terminate the Service or any feature at any time without notice.

(d) By opting in, you agree to receive recurring messages from us to your mobile number, even if it is on Do Not Call lists.

(e) Messages may include updates, alerts, and promotional content.

(f) Participation is voluntary and not required to make purchases.

(g) You are responsible for all fees charged by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies.

(h) You may opt out at any time. In Australia, use the unsubscribe link in a message to stop receiving texts.

(i) We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages caused by wireless carriers. You must provide a valid mobile number, and update it if it changes.

(j) The Service is governed by our Privacy Policy regarding data collection and use.

SECTION 18 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

(a) The website may include content, products, or services from third parties.

(b) Links to third-party sites are not affiliated with The Self Styler. We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party content and are not responsible for any associated damages.

SECTION 19 – USER COMMENTS, FEEDBACK, AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS

(a) By submitting content (unsolicited or requested), including ideas, suggestions, or contest entries (“Comments”), you grant The Self Styler the right to use, edit, publish, distribute, and translate your submissions without obligation to pay or respond.

(b) We may monitor or remove content we deem inappropriate, unlawful, or violating intellectual property rights.

(c) You must not submit content that infringes on third-party rights, contains viruses, false information, or is illegal, obscene, or abusive. You are solely responsible for your content.

SECTION 21 – ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS

(b) We are not obligated to update or amend information except as required by law. Displayed dates do not guarantee updates or accuracy of content.

(c) We may terminate your access without notice for violation of these Terms. You remain liable for obligations incurred prior to termination.

SECTION 27 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

(a) Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

(b) These Terms, including all posted policies, constitute the entire agreement governing your use of the Service, superseding prior agreements.

SECTION 28 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and any related agreements are governed by the laws of Unit 4 / 60 Junction Road, Burleigh Heads, QLD 4220, Australia.

SECTION 29 – CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

The Self Styler may update, modify, or replace these Terms at any time by posting changes on the website. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
