We want you to feel amazing in your The Self Styler pieces. If something isn’t quite right, you’re welcome to return your order within 30 days of delivery for a store credit. 

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  1. Not be marked as final sale

  2. Be unworn, unwashed, and returned in original packaging with tags attached

  3. Be free from perfume, body odour, deodorant, or laundry detergent smells

  4. Be free from makeup, fake tan, glitter, and pet hair

  5. Not include earrings, hair accessories or drinkware

If items do not meet these conditions, they will be sent back to you at your expense and store credit will not be issued.


Easy, Free Returns (Optional)

At checkout, you can add Easy, Free Returns for $2.98 AUD. Available for Australia only; final sale styles are not eligible. 

If you opt in:

  1. Your return shipping label is free

  2. Your order includes shipping protection in case of loss or damage in transit

If you don’t opt in:

  1. You can still return your item via our returns portal

  2. You will need to purchase a return shipping label

  3. The cost of the label will be deducted from your store credit

  4. This fee is non-refundable, even if you do not return your item


Return Portal

SUBMIT YOUR RETURN HERE

To start your return:

  1. Enter your order number and the email address or phone number used at checkout

  2. Select the item(s) you wish to return and specify a return reason (the more detail, the better we can understand your feedback)

  3. Submit your request and download your return label. 

You will also receive email instructions with next steps.

Please include a note inside your parcel with your name and order number, and keep your tracking number for reference.


Return Shipping

  1. If you purchased Easy, Free Returns, you will receive a free return label once your return is approved

  2. If you did not purchase it, you can buy a return label through the returns portal, and the cost will be deducted from your store credit


Store Credit

  1. Store credit is valid for 3 years from the date of issue

  2. Credit is issued for the value of the returned item(s) paid

  3. Issued within approximately 3 business days after your return is received and approved

  4. Any return label costs (if applicable) will be deducted from your credit

  5. Please check your spam or junk folder for your credit email


Exchanges

If you would like a different size or style, please follow the returns process above.

We do not hold items for exchange due to limited stock. Once your store credit is issued, you can use it to place a new order. Standard shipping fees apply to replacement orders.


Refunds

We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Returns are issued as store credit only.


Faulty Items

If you receive a faulty item, we will absolutely make it right.

In line with ACCC guidelines:

  1. We will replace the item where possible

  2. If a replacement is not available, we will offer a refund or store credit based on your preference

Return shipping for faulty items will be covered by The Self Styler once the fault has been assessed via photo or inspection.


Final Sale

Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for return, as stated on the product listing, in-cart, and at checkout.
If your order includes a mix of full-price and Final Sale items and you select free returns at checkout, please note that Final Sale items are excluded, as they are not returnable under any circumstances.

 

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) from our warehouse located in Burleigh, QLD. 

Our team works hard to dispatch your order ASAP. If you place your order before 2pm, we’ll do our best to have it sent out the same day.

During sale periods or busy times, there may be a small dispatch delay, but we’ll always aim to get your order on it's way as quickly as possible.

Domestic Shipping 📦

We’ve got you covered with shipping all across Australia via Australia Post!

At checkout, you can choose from:

$9.95 Parcel Post – approx. 3–5 business days
$13.95 Express Post – approx. 1–3 business days

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a tracking number in your confirmation email so you can follow your parcel every step of the way. While we always do our best to dispatch orders promptly, delivery timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed.

Please note your order total must exceed $200 after any promotional codes or store credits are applied. This offer does not apply to Credit Code totals.

Please double-check that all shipping details are correct at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate delivery address. If an incorrect address is supplied, we’re unable to offer reimbursement for lost parcels. If your order is returned to sender, a re-delivery fee will apply.

Once your order has been shipped and a tracking number provided, Australia Post owns responsibility for the parcel. If you experience any issues with delivery, please contact us here and we’ll assist by lodging an enquiry with Australia Post.
